Curriculum

Synthesizing the best practices of Outward Bound schools and consulting with a global team of Outward Bound instructors and experts in the field of peacebuilding, the Outward Bound Center for Peacebuilding has compiled a Facilitator Workbook that is intended to guide the design of peacebuilding programs in various parts of the world.

As peacebuilding programs are designed, the peacebuilding program curriculum will be tailored to fit specific conflicts, participant groups and cultures by the locally implementing Outward Bound school with the assistance of the Outward Bound Center for Peacebuilding. It is anticipated that the Facilitator Workbook will be improved upon annually based on the evaluation of Peacebuilding programs and continued research.

The Facilitator Workbook is available to the network of international Outward Bound instructors and management on the internally accessible Outward Bound International wiki.
