Locations

There are numerous locations and situations around the world ripe for Outward Bound peacebuilding experiences. Our goal is to help individuals and communities develop skills to successfully manage and prevent violent conflict and to reconcile after conflict has occurred.

In 2008, we are focusing our efforts on developing and supporting Peacebuilding programs in Sri Lanka and the Middle East, and on providing support and consultation to a new Outward Bound school in Rwanda. Please see Current Programs for more details.

The organization's three-year plan of development includes programmatic growth in the regions identified for 2008, with the addition of a program focus on improving understanding and relations between Islam and the West.
